John graduated from Purdue University in 1980 and served the next four years as a Naval Officer.  After his service he attended and graduated from Rutgers University with an MBA in 1986.  He returned to Indianapolis where he joined the Federal Home Loan Bank as a Senior Financial Analyst with a specialty in financial futures and options. 

John was awarded the professional designation of CFA, Chartered Financial Analyst, in 1993. He joined NBD Trust and Investments in 1993 as a Portfolio Manager and Administrator.  Most recently he was a Senior Trust Officer with J.P. Morgan, formerly Bank One. 

John began his GBC career in September 2005 as Vice President and Trust Officer. He became the Controller, Bank Secrecy Act Officer and Vice President/Treasurer for Greenfield Bancshares in 2008.  In 2009, John was named Executive Vice President and in June 2012, he became the President and CEO of Greenfield Banking Company and Greenfield Bancshares Inc. 

John continues to serve as a Captain in the US Navy Reserve and on the Board of Directors of Scecina Memorial High School.  John, his wife, Cris, and three children have lived in Irvington on the east side of Indianapolis since 1988.

Brad began his career in 1979 with Indiana National Bank, including Senior Portfolio Manager and Director of Common Stock Research.  Later, he served as Chief Investment Officer of Indiana during his tenure at National City, Indiana.

Brad received his B.A. in Finance and Economics from Indiana State University, graduating with honors.  He obtained his MBA, with honors, from Indiana Central University (now the University of Indianapolis).  He holds the professional designations of Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Chartered Market Technician (CMT) and is active in both organizations.  After 10 years with the GBC Company Wealth Management as Trust Officer and Department Manager, Brad was named Chief Investment Officer in 2012.

Brad and his family have lived in Greenfield, Indiana since 1980.  Brad serves on numerous boards and committees in the Greenfield area.

Troy has been a financial advisor since 2000.  He started his investment career at Edward Jones after a 4 year profession in law enforcement.  He joined GBC Wealth Management in 2012 and named Manager in 2015.

Prior to graduating from Indiana University in 1998, Troy served as a police officer after graduating from the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy in 1996.  He has a B.S. from Indiana University in Criminal Justice.  In 2003, he received the designation of Accredited Asset Management Specialist (AAMS).

He is active in the community volunteering with many local charities including Love INC. and Hancock County Senior Services.  He has also volunteered at a local elementary school helping third graders improve their reading skills and at the Kenneth Butler Soup Kitchen.

A resident of Greenfield since 2003, Troy stays active with his wife, Katrina, and four daughters, Taylor, Kami, Ellie and Mia.

John graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 1977 and began his banking career with the Ellis Banking Corporation in Bradenton, Florida.  While in Florida, John graduated from the Florida Bankers Association’s Florida Trust School in Gainesville.

John returned to Indianapolis in 1981 and went to work in the trust division of Merchants National Bank.  In 2004 John joined Community Trust and Investment Company, working for Community and its successor, Mutual Bank, for over 10 years.  John joined GBC Wealth Management in September of 2014 and brings with him over 30 years of experience in the area of trust administration.  

John and his family have lived in Indianapolis since 1981, where he has been involved with various community volunteer organizations.   He currently serves as a volunteer for School on Wheels and for Coburn Place.



Miranda K. Cook Miranda K. Cook

Miranda began her career in 1995 with Greenfield Banking Company, ending her first GBC career as Head Teller of our Meridian Road Office.  In 2002 she furthered her career as a teller, customer representative and IRA Administrator for Eli Lilly Federal Credit Union.

Rejoining Greenfield Banking Company in 2008, Miranda served as a Trust Administrative Assistant for four years.  In January of 2012, she was named Assistant Trust Officer, later receiving the title of Trust Officer in 2013.  While working with some trust accounts, she primarily focuses her work on guardianship and custodian accounts.  She recently completed the second course of the Cannon Financial Institute Trust School.  

Miranda has been a lifelong resident of Hancock County.  Along with her husband Eric, she has two sons, Chase and Conner.  She also serves as a volunteer for local charities such as Meal on Wheels.



Stacey L. Wixson Stacey L. Wixson

Stacey began her Greenfield Banking Company career in 2011 at our Fortville office as a teller; later working as a Customer Service Representative.  In April 2012, she transferred to the Wealth Management department as an Administrative Assistant.  Continuing to develop her career, in 2013 she was named Assistant Trust Officer and 2014 named Trust Officer.

Stacey received her B.A. in Finance and Supply Chain Management, as well as a minor in Economics, from Indiana University Indianapolis’ Kelley School of Business in 2011.  Here at GBC Wealth Management, she focuses her work on trust and estate administration.  She is working to receive her Certified Trust and Financial Advisor (CTFA) and recently completed the second course of the Cannon Financial Institute Trust School.  

Stacey had been a lifelong resident of Hamilton County, extremely active in their 4-H program, until her recent move to southeastern Marion County.  Along with her husband Keith, she stays active with the family farms.  She participates in many volunteer organizations, as well as serving as a Board member for the Greenfield Rotary Club.

Trust Officer & IRA Administrator


Erin began her banking career in 2002 with Greenfield Banking Company as a teller in our Greenfield Northgate Office, later transferring to GBC’s main office in 2006 as a Customer Service Representative.  In September 2006, she accepted the position of IRA Administrator, and in 2007 developed the Health Savings Account program for GBC.  After attending IRA school in 2008, held in partnership by Ascensus and the Graduate School of Banking, she obtained the American Banker’s Association Certified IRA Services Professional (CISP) designation.  

In 2009, while continuing in her current capacity, Erin was merged into GBC’s Wealth Management department.  In 2012 she attended Schools of Banking’s School of Trust and Financial Services and in 2014 earned her Accredited Trust Operations Professional (ATOP) designation.  Erin received her B.S. in Management with an HR specialization and an Accounting minor from Indiana Wesleyan University in 2016.  Over the years she has developed a focus for operations, tax reporting and compliance.

Erin was a lifelong resident of Rush County until 2001 when she and her husband Jared, now with addition of their son Wyatt, settled in Greenfield.  Erin has been involved in the community by her participation with Meal on Wheels, Breakfast Buddies, Brandywine Wind and ReadUp.



Robert Caird
Wealth Advisor

 

Rob has pursued personal finance and investments since grade school, even interning in the Trust Department at GBC as a high school student.  Since then, he received his B.S. from Ball State University with a double major in Finance and Accounting and a concentration in Financial Planning.  He is currently working to obtain the professional designation of Certified Financial Planner (CFP), completing the first of six courses at the College for Financial Planning.

 

Rob started his career in financial advising with Edward Jones in 2014. He was located in Greenfield, focusing on southern Hancock and Northern Shelby Counties.  He joined GBC in April of 2016 where he plans on developing a long career within the Wealth Management department.  

 

Rob grew up in Greenfield where he now lives with his wife Gina, a teacher for Greenfield School Corp. They do not currently have children, but are already planning for them.
