John Lee
Vice President & Trust Officer
John graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 1977 and began his banking career with the Ellis Banking Corporation in Bradenton, Florida. While in Florida, John graduated from the Florida Bankers Association’s Florida Trust School in Gainesville.
John returned to Indianapolis in 1981 and went to work in the trust division of Merchants National Bank. In 2004 John joined Community Trust and Investment Company, working for Community and its successor, Mutual Bank, for over 10 years. John joined GBC Wealth Management in September of 2014 and brings with him over 30 years of experience in the area of trust administration.
John and his family have lived in Indianapolis since 1981, where he has been involved with various community volunteer organizations. He currently serves as a volunteer for School on Wheels and for Coburn Place.
